Event Policies
Last updated October 12, 2026
These policies apply to everyone who attends or vends at a Texas TCG Expo show. Buying a ticket, reserving a table or entering the venue means you agree to them.
1. Tickets and entry
- Every attendee needs a valid ticket, except children who qualify for free entry under the rules published for that show.
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
- VIP tickets allow entry at the VIP time listed for the show. General admission begins at the listed general admission time.
- Tickets may not be resold for more than their face value. We may refuse tickets that have been copied or altered.
- We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who breaks these policies or the venue’s rules, without a refund.
2. Refunds and cancellations
All ticket sales are final. Tickets are not refundable or exchangeable if you are unable to attend.
If we cancel a show and do not reschedule it, ticket buyers will be refunded the ticket price through the original ticketing provider. If a show is rescheduled, your ticket will be valid for the new date. Service and processing fees charged by the ticketing provider may not be refundable.
Vendor table bookings are subject to the cancellation terms shown at the time of booking.
3. Buying, selling and trading
Vendors are independent sellers. Texas TCG Expo does not inspect, authenticate, grade, price or guarantee any item sold or traded at a show, including whether a card is genuine or what condition it is in.
Every purchase, sale and trade is strictly between the people involved. Check items carefully before you pay or trade, and take up any problem directly with the other party. We are not a party to those transactions and are not responsible for them.
Trades and purchases involving anyone under 18 should be made with a parent or guardian present. Vendors may decline to trade with or buy from a minor.
4. Your belongings
You are responsible for your own cards, cash, bags and other property at all times. Texas TCG Expo, the venue and our staff are not responsible for items that are lost, stolen or damaged at a show. Vendors are responsible for securing their own inventory and displays.
5. Assumption of risk
Attending a live event involves ordinary risks, including crowded spaces. You attend voluntarily and at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Texas TCG Expo and its organizers, staff and volunteers from claims for injury, loss or damage arising from your attendance, except where caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
6. Photos and video
We photograph and film our shows. By attending, you agree that you may appear in photos and video, and that we may use them on our website, on social media and in promotional materials without payment. If you would prefer not to be photographed, tell the photographer or a staff member. To have a photo of you or your child removed from our website or social accounts, email texastcgexpo@gmail.com.
7. Conduct
We want every show to be a place you can bring your friends and family. To keep it that way:
- treat attendees, vendors, staff and venue employees with respect; harassment and threats are not tolerated;
- no theft, counterfeit or knowingly misrepresented items, or pressure tactics, especially toward younger collectors;
- no weapons, illegal substances or anything prohibited by the venue;
- only registered vendors may set up a table or display to sell;
- follow instructions from staff, security and venue employees.
8. Vendors
- Vendors are responsible for their own sales, pricing, permits and any taxes that apply to what they sell.
- Vendors must sell only items they have the right to sell and must describe them honestly.
- Tables must be staffed by an adult and kept within the assigned space.
- Additional vendor terms provided at booking also apply.
9. Giveaways
Giveaways at our shows are free to enter for eligible ticket holders, and winners are chosen at random unless stated otherwise. Prizes are provided as is, have no cash alternative, and usually must be claimed in person at the show. Rules announced at the show for a specific giveaway also apply.
10. Changes and contact
Show details and these policies may change. The version posted here on the day of a show is the one that applies to it. Questions can be sent to texastcgexpo@gmail.com.
